More Fat Loss Q&A

As I’ve written before, most people mistakenly believe that you in order to lose fat, they need to do long duration, low intensity cardio. The reality is that science does not back this up, and in fact science shows us that long duration cardio (endurance training) is actually an inefficient way to lose fat, and higher intensity work is a much more effective option.

So every once in a while I’ll hop on Yahoo’s question and answer boards, in the diet and fitness section obviously, to check out the questions and throw out some answers. While he covered a lot of topics, one of the most interesting was regarding EFA (omega-3, essential fatty acids, fish oil, krill oil, whatever you like to call it) supplementation and the latest research on how beneficial it is in regards to fat loss.

(Now, I’ve written before on the fact that you should all be taking an EFA supplement, and if you’re not, then shame on you. The health benefits for everyone are well researched and well-documented. And if you buy EFA supplements purely based on which one is cheapest, you’ll get what you pay for, including fish burps. That’s just dumb.)
