I keep saying that if people focused on being healthy instead of focusing on being thin, they’d be much better off.

But, it is certainly an uphill battle when the media, fashion industry, MTV, Hollywood, Madison Avenue, etc. keep forcing unrealistic images of “beauty” on the public.

I’ve reached the point where I no longer have patience with smokers. I mean, c’mon. Smoking sucks.

I actually had someone tell me the reason they didn’t want to quit smoking was because they’d gain weight if they did.

Yeah, that would be a lot worse than bronchitis, emphysema, COPD, stroke, heart disease, mouth cancer, or lung cancer. You’ll be getting pushed around in your wheel chair at age 60 with your oxygen tank at your side, but at least you’ll still be a size 6.
