I keep saying that if people focused on being healthy instead of focusing on being thin, they’d be much better off.
But, it is certainly an uphill battle when the media, fashion industry, MTV, Hollywood, Madison Avenue, etc. keep forcing unrealistic images of “beauty” on the public.
Check out this AP photo of a model on the catwalk during Paris Fashion Week last October, modeling the latest from French fashion house Guy Laroche.
Uhh, sorry Guy.
That’s not fashion. That’s anorexia, and you’re pretty pathetic for glorifying it.
So, how about we all “Just say no” to Guy and everyone like him.
Then, please do yourself a favor and talk to your kids about the importance of choosing good role models.
