Someone asked me what they should choose if they get stuck having to go to McDonald’s or some other fast food dive for lunch. Are there better options on the menu that they could choose so that they would’t tube their nutrition plan for the day?
Well, the politically correct answer is that you just need to choose a salad or a potato instead of a burger, and don’t cover it in dressing or blah blah blah blah…

Okay, I know it’s not New Years. In fact, as I write this, it’s about – there’s about 13 weeks or so left until New Years. But I’m willing to bet some of you reading this have already begun to think about what your New Year’s resolution will be come January 1, 2010.

Kaizen is the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement throughout all aspects of life on a daily basis.
You may have heard the term kaizen before, most likely in the context of the business world. For instance, the philosophy of kaizen and continuous quality improvement was one of the driving reasons why Toyota and the other Japanese auto makers basically kicked Ford’s butt for the past several years.
So what does that have to do with fitness?
