Well, we’ve just wrapped up the 2nd Body Transformation Challenge, and once again we’ve got some people who achieved remarkable results.
If you don’t know, the Body Transformation Challenge is my 12-week challenge where participants, most following the principles in The Body Transformation Course 2.0, set their sights on reaching their personal fitness and fat loss goals.
Some met their goals, some didn’t, and some went beyond what they thought they could do. To all, congratulations. Even though the 12 weeks is up, you’ve now set upon the path to a lifetime of healthier living and fitness.
Like I said, there were lots of great results, but we can only have two winners. So, drum roll please………
In first place is Pam Phaneuf.
People in their 40s and 50s often think it’s too late for them to change their body. Well, our two winners are here to prove them wrong.
In 12 weeks, Pam lost a whopping 18 lbs, which was actually a little over 14% of her total body weight. She went from 127 to 109, and now at age 45, she can proudly show off her abs.
Even better, she dropped her body fat percentage down to 20%, which is excellent for a 45 year old female. Pam was consistent with her exercise, even getting workouts in during vacation, but credits positive changes to her nutrition as the thing that really put her over the top.
And, according to Pam:
“I love it. You’re cheaper than liposuction!”
In second place is
Chris Heiser. Chris, at age 53, is out to prove that it’s never too late to make a change. Here’s what Chris had to say about her experience:
“I’ve lost 15 pounds and dropped down one pants size, and incidentally, one bra size. It won’t be long until I drop to the next size, either, I think. But aside from the numbers, the lessons I learned are many and important. I now am much better at shopping for good food. I don’t buy processed stuff anymore at all. I don’t go to fast food restaurants anymore. I have learned how important it is, at 53, to eat like an adult. That was HUGE for me. My muscles are more defined, and I’m receiving many positive comments. I actually miss working out when I don’t do it, because I feel so good when I’m done. I wake up in the morning ready for the day, and feeling like I want to work out or go to the gym. I know I have a lot farther to go, but I have the tools now, and there is no excuse for not reaching my weight-loss and fitness goals. I’m excited for the future.”
And while Pam and Chris are deserving of kudos, there are some other notable results I should mention.
Thomas, one of the winners of the 1st Challenge, was able to drop another 13 lbs and get his body fat down to 10.2%, which is excellent for any age, never mind a 38 year old. His wife Christine dropped almost six inches off of her measurements. Kathryn dropped 16 lbs as well during the Challenge, and Pete, who has lost over six inches off of his waist, looks younger now than he did 10 years ago.
In my book, that makes all of you winners. Congratulations to you all.
