Have You Tried These Weight Loss Tricks?

Have you ever considered any of these things to jump start your weight loss?

Not Getting Results with Your Kettlebell Routine?

Okay, I just saw the following video on the Self Magazine web site.  It’s no wonder women often get frustrated and don’t feel they get anywhere with their exercise routines.

If they’re following advice like this, it’s a virtual guarantee you won’t see results.  I mean seriously, if you’re smiling this much during a kettlebell routine, do you really think you’re working hard enough to make any changes to your body?

They don’t reference it in the video, but on their site above the video they instruct the reader to use a 10 lb kettlebell and even said:

“Sound heavy? No worries—keep in mind that you’re using only one.”

Sound heavy??!! It’s 10 freakin’ pounds. I’m pretty sure the smiling woman in the video didn’t get that body using a 10 lb kettlebell.  That would be like using a pink dumbbell.

My Daughter Eats Spinach for Breakfast

Yup, my daughter eats spinach for breakfast almost every day. Zucchini too.

Now, before you think I’m out there where the buses don’t run and only feed my kids vegetables, let’s just talk a little bit about breakfast first and hopefully you’ll see I’m not nuts.

coffee and donutYes, it’s true that breakfast is usually your most important meal of the day.  You’ve just fasted for 10 or more hours (break fast. Get it?), and this is a huge opportunity to start your day off with some quality fuel.

Unfortunately most people blow it.

Really, how many of you grab a donut, bagel, bowl of rice chex, or some toast and wash it down with coffee and OJ?  If that is you, well Sparky, you certainly are missing an opportunity to do your body some good.
