- Life is way too short to spend any time worrying about how many ‘points’ you’ve eaten.
- You don’t “need” anything sold at GNC or one of those mall vitamin stores to lose weight and get fit.
- Focusing on getting thin usually leads to bad habits and temporary thinness. Focusing on being as healthy as possible leads to good habits, and a better chance at long term weight loss.
- Pretty much any product from ‘Body by Jake’ is a piece of crap. Honestly, set your money on fire instead of spending it on any of that junk. More fun, less frustrating, and quicker.
- Relying on willpower is a flawed strategy. If you’re fighting yourself to lose weight (i.e. fighting the urge to eat cake, fighting the urge to park your ass on the couch all day, fighting the urge not to overeat, etc.), you may win a few battles, but you’ll always lose the war. You can only win the war after you can change your mindset and commit to a healthy lifestyle, and stop trying to rely on willpower.
