DaveTV Episode 81 – Learn to Eat Vegetables Like an Adult

davetv from Dave SoucyI’ve got two beautiful little daughters at home, ages 6 (just about 7) and 3 (not quite 4). Those of you with kids know what it can be like sometimes to get them to eat healthy food like vegetables.

If it was up to them, every day would be mac and cheese day.

That’s why it’s not up to them.

But I’ve found that with a lot of adults, maybe even the majority, their eating habits aren’t that different from kids’ eating habits. I’m pretty sure adults whine about eating vegetables as much as your average 3 year old does.

I will say my 7 year old is very good now at trying new things. In fact, she’s probably better at it than most adults out there. Watch the video and learn to try new things.

Great video as always Dave…grilling veggies is a great way to re-try your less popular veggies again. I even found that taking my favorite vegetables and adding them to my less-than-favorite veggies created a new taste that I enjoyed.

    Hmmm…Ya' know, I guess combining food isn't a new idea either…I think I did that when I was like…seven. :)
