So back in October of ’09, I did a video in which I talked about New Year’s resolutions. As usual, I said that you shouldn’t wait until New Year’s to start making changes, and if you started now (which was the beginning of October) you could have gone to your New Year’s eve party 12 lbs lighter.
Well, how many of you listened to me?
How many of you took my advice, and simply losing 1 measly pound per week, ended up 12 lbs lighter on January 1, 2010 than you were on October 1, 2009? If you did, congratulations for taking action and doing something great for yourself. I’ll bet you feel awesome about your accomplishment, and you should.
If you didn’t, why not? Are you heavier now than you were on October 1?
Take a look back. Life is fleeting. You just let 12 weeks go by without making any progress towards your weight loss goal. Don’t do that again.
Let’s pretend you get a do over.
Let’s pretend it’s October 1 again. Watch the video below again. But this time, take action. Don’t waste another 12 weeks. If you have a weight loss goal, the only way you will ever achieve it is to start taking action towards that goal today.
Not tomorrow.
Not the day after.
Today. October 1, 2009 (sort of).
