DaveTV Episode 86 – Learn to Succeed, Not How to Lose Weight

davetvslug

I don’t care what any one else says. The mechanics of weight loss are truly very simple.

Eat properly, exercise regularly, focus on being healthy, and all will be well. Yes, it is that simple.

So don’t run out and try the next new diet. The last thing anyone needs is another freakin’ diet book. If the world never saw another diet book written, we’d all be just fine and we’d save a ton of trees in the process.

Instead of a diet book, I’ve got some better ideas on what you should be reading if you want to succeed with weight loss. Watch the video and I’ll tell you what they are, then make sure you let me know what you think by commenting below.

Here’s a great resource to get you started. Do a search on some people like Wayne Dyer, Mark Victor Hansen, Jim Rohn, etc.

"I don’t care what anyone else says. The mechanics of weight loss are truly very simple."

You are right. Eat right and exercise and the rest will take care of itself.

Problem is most people have forgotten to eat properly. That means less processed foods and more natural foods with the fiber left in.

I am going to keep checking your blog.

    Thanks

  • Thanks Peter,
while some people have forgotten to eat properly, I think we've got a generation that didn't forget, but that never learned how to in the first place. I had another blogger raking me over the coals the other day for calling McDonalds' food unhealthy, because as she pointed out, they have healthier options like her favorite, the Egg McMuffin. Seriously.

When you've got a person that thinks an egg mcmuffin is healthy, I believe you've got a person that has never really learned the meaning of healthy.

Keep up the good work. Checked out your blog, looks great.

    Thanks,
    Dave
