Yes good point. I have read a lot about high protein diets lately and they all mention about drinking 1 Gallon of water per day to keep your body properly flushed!

Close enough. "I don't dig on swine" is the connection. As I mentioned, whether or not you choose to eat meat is fine by me. Vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, can all eat in a healthy manner.

Has it got to do with Pulp Fiction?
Maybe the lines, "I don't dig on swine." and "I don't eat anything that isn't smart enough to disregard its own feces". Basical don't eat [your own] crap?

I absolutely love the seven rules. Thanks, I will print them up and stick them in my bathroom, so I'll be sure to see them every day!

Hi Neal. Good guesses on Samuel L. Jackson, but not what I was thinking about. But, I almost like your "Be cool bitch" idea better than mine...

Dave the coffee kicked in!!! I'm awake now. When Jules recites Ezekiel 25:17 he used to kill them he makes a transformation and lets this guy live. Know who the enemy is... Its not GOOD FOOD!!! Make a BODY TRANSFORMATION by changing the MIND...the way you think about food..I think I'm thinking clearer even though the sun hasn't risen yet. It's 630am, I'm going to make some breakfast... my own green smoothie!! Am I close??

[...] I believe learning to eat right, in a healthy manner, with an emphasis on quality of food and variety of nutrients instead of an emphasis on calories, is the best method to long term weight loss and overall health. (If you missed it, you can read my very simple rules of healthy eating here.)
Thanks Daniel. Most people try to make this more complicated than it really is. I firmly believe it is this simple. People just need to take action and make some changes in the way they eat...

This is a sensational post Dave. # 2 is my fave but all are very very valid. Fruit & Veg like you said never made anyone fat unless people count their fruit serving as 2 glasses of orange juice and an apple pie from Maccas.

I love your SAD term. We can implement Australian here and it fits perfectly cause it's a sad state of affairs where it is right now for the average person
