Can Jamie Oliver Change the World?

Can Jamie Oliver change the world? I hope so, and we all need to help him do it.

Jamie is the first TED Prize Winner of 2010, and this is his “One Wish to Change the World”:

“I wish for your help to create a strong, sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook again and empower people everywhere to fight obesity.”

A simple enough sounding wish. Take 20 minutes and watch his speech at the TED conference, especially if you have children. Even if you don’t, I guarantee it will be eye-opening and well worth your time.

He is passionate about this cause, a passion we should all share if we don’t want to subject our children, and future generations, to a lower standard of health and vitality than we have.

Watch the video. Really.
