Can you lose weight while still eating junk food all the time? Sure.
Can I help you do that? Nope, don’t know how.
Can you lose weight without ever exercising? Sure.
Can I help you with that? No can do.
Can you lose weight doing some ‘cleanse’ that Beyonce did? Sure.
Can I help you with that? Not a chance in hell.
Can you lose 30 lbs in 30 days like those diet pill commercials promise? Sure.
Can I help you with that? No way Jose.
Can you lose weight by using something like SlimFast or some other diet shake? Sure.
Can I help you with that? Sorry, not my department.
Can you lose weight without making long term lifestyle changes? Sure.
Can I help you with that? Wait, let me check⦠uhh, that would be no.
So, who the hell do I help? Well, thanks for asking. I help people who realize there’s something important missing from the questions above, and that is a little thing called your health.
Listen, if all you’re interested in is fitting into those acid-washed jeans you wore in high school in time for your 20th reunion, that’s pretty simple to do. Any of the above will probably get you there. Of course, you’ll probably lose muscle mass and water weight along with some fat and soon after your reunion you’ll gain all the weight back as fat and those acid-washed jeans will go back in the closet once again.
Sorry, but I’m not at all interested in helping you do that.
But if you’re interested in losing fat, getting fit, and becoming a healthier you for the rest of your life, well, that I can help you out with. There’s no miracle pills. No chocolate shakes posing as health food. No stupid maple syrup and lemon juice cleanses.
It’s actually much simpler than that.
All you need to do is eat right and exercise. Clean, healthy food and some simple exercise on a regular basis. No processed crap posing as food. No gimmicks like ab belts or anything from Body by Jake. No complicated fad diets or miracle cleanses.
If you’d like to try eating right and exercising, then I can help you.
